The small, centrally located Janus Boutique Hotel & Spa boasts family atmosphere with individually designed rooms, suites and lot of wellness services. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire hotel. I can't remember the last time I was at a bed and breakfast in Hungary and was actually served a breakfast that contained Hungarian food (thank you!). The hotel is fabulously eccentric and its decor quite fascinating, the staff were warm and unusually friendly for Hungarian standards. Would recommend this spot.

Venusz Hotel is situated in Siófok, only 150 metres from the beach at Lake Balaton and just a few minutes walk from the city centre. It offers free Wi-Fi in the public areas in the hotel. We found a room last-minute and booked quickly as everything was sold out in high-season. We were in transit and we have a dog - there was no extra charge. There was no parking left but we found a spot on the street between the trees. After booking I read the reviews so was expecting the worst but was pleasantly surprised as the room was modern and very clean. There was no soundproofing however there was no persistent noise, just the odd door slamming. The bathroom was small but modern and everything worked very well. We had a plentiful breakfast.
