Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. The moment I walked into this home, I wanted to live there and never leave. It's a breathtakingly gorgeous home that's been made into a comfortable haven for travellers. There is an unmatched serenity to the place which is not only embodied in the lounges with fireplaces, comfy chairs, and homey touches, but the location is perfect. The crisp mountain air, the stillness, the fresh spring INSIDE the hotel! All make this a unique, fantastic, wonderful place to stay. Other reviews have mentioned a hard bed. While this is the case, it's not uncomfortable, and the duvet and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud

4 miles from Shannon Airport, Bunratty Manor is a small family-run hotel, just a 5-minute walk from Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. The Manor Restaurant serves local game and seafood. Very nice Hotel, quiet and confortable.

An absolutely amazing host, extremely helpful and friendly. The room is well-equipped, cosy and clean, the bed is comfortable and big. Great breakfast and sweet small treats in the room. The property definitely exceeded my expectations.

It was in a really fantastic location in Doolin - just a couple of mins walk from the popular Gus O'Connor's Pub and the main strip of shops and cafes. The pier (for boats to the Aran Islands/Cliffs of Moher) was an easy 15 minute walk away. Other restaurants in the area were easily walkable too. For visitors to the area - note that most kitchens do close at around 9pm but drinks flow freely 'til at least midnight (if not longer!) There's a pitch and putt nearby and Doolin itself has some breathtaking views. Pairc Lodge was a great base to explore the wider, scenic area via car too. Overall, rooms and facilities were spotless, it was very quiet at night considering the location and Pat was a brilliant host (thanks for everything!) Look forward to staying here again - highly recommended.

With views over Doolin village and towards the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin View B&B is within a 10-minute walk of traditional Irish pubs and restaurants. The decor was so comfortable and homey. The host was gracious and accommodating. The views were excellent and the breakfast was a treat. Wonderful!

Situated in the town of Lisdoonvarna, Ballinsheen House offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking. On the edge of the Burren National Park, it is just 10 minutes’ drive from the Cliffs of Moher. Ballinsheen is beautiful: the rooms are lovely, the dining area is charming and full of light, the sitting rooms are pretty, and the garden is stunning. Mary is a friendly, helpful, delightful person with an artistic eye. Everything is top notch, from breakfast to the hand cream in the bedroom. The breakfast items are home-made and featuring local specialties. It was our favorite place to stay in Ireland, and we wish we could have stayed longer! What an oasis after a harrowing drive.
