The property is beautiful - the backyard has more of a country-garden feel. The restaurants have wonderful garden-to-table organic food and it’s fabulous! Breakfast is included - just make sure to get your reservations early because the restaurants fill up. The front desk can help you with just about anything - they’re lovely! The pools are beautiful and the spa massage I had was one of the best. Also make sure to go see Catherine at Shekina Sculpture Garden not too far away - Catherine is a gem (an encourager of noticing beauty in her garden and in life).

This 400-year old hotel is nestled in the beautiful Vale of Avoca, overlooking Woodenbridge Golf Club. Its modern rooms have free Wi-Fi, while its AA Rosette restaurant serves full Irish breakfasts. This is a well looked after and loved hotel. The staff are lovely and cheery, they seem to enjoy their work. My room was large with a balcony. WiFi worked perfectly and there was a good table to do some work on my laptop. The restaurant was busy with a limited but good menu and a lovely background hum to it. Breakfast was both cooked and continental cuisine.
