This beautiful country-house hotel on the edge of Enniskerry features spacious rooms and seasonal cuisine, 5 minutes’ walk from Powerscourt House and Gardens. Lovely clean and updated hotel, quiet with friendly staff. Food was excellent.

Set in a Designated Area of Natural Beauty, the award winning BrookLodge & Macreddin Village has elegant modern rooms and extensive facilities which include an indoor-to-outdoor pool, Hammam massage... The hotel is in a wonderful location, very cozy. The staff was very polite. Huge selection of breakfast, very delicious and varied dishes. The equipment is old, but elegant and clean. The faucets in the bathroom are also reminiscent of the old days, it was very special. But I think it's worth staying here not because of the rooms, but because of the magical environment. I can imagine few more romantic places for a wedding than the small chapel next to the hotel.

This 400-year old hotel is nestled in the beautiful Vale of Avoca, overlooking Woodenbridge Golf Club. Its modern rooms have free Wi-Fi, while its AA Rosette restaurant serves full Irish breakfasts. This is a well looked after and loved hotel. The staff are lovely and cheery, they seem to enjoy their work. My room was large with a balcony. WiFi worked perfectly and there was a good table to do some work on my laptop. The restaurant was busy with a limited but good menu and a lovely background hum to it. Breakfast was both cooked and continental cuisine.

The Parkview Hotel is positioned between the Wicklow Mountains and the Irish Sea in the town of Newtownmountkennedy. The room was beautiful and big. Everything was clean and the beds were really comfortable. Also, we had a problem with the plugs (didn't bring the EU-UK adapter) and the girl at the reception was absolutely amazing about it, helped us to find where we could find one and to print out boarding passes in case we didn't manage to find the adapter.
