Located in the old French town along Suffren Street, Villa Shanti is just a 3-minute walk from the famous Promenade Beach. Great location within walking distance (or by auto) for all major sights. The staff were excellent and could not do enough for you, always smiling. The breakfast was fabulous with so much food; it is definitely a hotel for foodies. We can’t wait to go back to Pondicherry and the Villa Shanti!

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely. The breakfasts had a great selection of foods. The housekeeping was excellent. The swimming pool on the roof was a real bonus and had stunning views of the city. Couldn't fault it.

The Promenade is a 5-minute walk from Pondicherry Beach. It offers an outdoor pool, 3 dining options and free Wi-Fi access is provided for free in the entire hotel. I spent 6 nights here absolutely wonderful, the staff amazing from the door man ,reception, room attendants , wait staff . The staff always on hand to help in anyway, so friendly. Food was delicious a huge range to choose from breakfast was absolutely delicious. The pastries were beautiful. My bed was so comfortable , aircon was great , Thank you for making my holiday memorable . 10 out of 10 .
