Offering an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace, LA VILLA is located 500 metres from Sri Aurobindo Ashram, 1 km from the popular Goubert Market and 1.5 km from Pondicherry Railway Station. Love the room with the balcony I think it’s the largest one, and it’s my 3rd time here. Very very good staff and hospitality and the food is superb. Good location too. My go to place in pondi, would not pick any other space in the city but this.

The reception area was so cool and welcoming and we were garlanded with flowers and given a refreshing cool towel and delicious drink. The staff were exceptionally good and accommodated our daughter at short notice. Breakfast was a delight with such a variety on offer and excellent service. The covered terrace has a good breeze. The evening meal was good and bar very relaxing too. The pool is a great place to relax surrounded by the stunning architecture of the building. We all had treatments in the hotel which were excellent. This is a perfect place to stay in Pondicherry.

Located in the old French town along Suffren Street, Villa Shanti is just a 3-minute walk from the famous Promenade Beach. Location is good. Foods are delicious.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely. The breakfasts had a great selection of foods. The housekeeping was excellent. The swimming pool on the roof was a real bonus and had stunning views of the city. Couldn't fault it.

Originally built to serve as the mayor’s residence, this 5-star heritage property is surrounded by a garden and is a 5-minute walk from Pondicherry Beach. Loved the attitude of the staff, very friendly, very helpful, especially Prabhu, Diki, Padmini and Gopal who went out of their way to make my husband and I comfortable. We celebrated my husband’s birthday at the property and the staff out did themselves in making it extra special for my husband.
