The property was well maintained and the room was top notch and exceeded expectations. Accepted my special request and fulfilled them on-time. The staff from the doorstep, reception check-in area and laundry at the property were courteous. Special mention to staffs named Sivashanmugam, Riyaz and Barani did their job very well.

This quiet English-style retreat exudes old world charm, yet provides facilities like a spa and a gym.... Amazing building, the pool was so inviting. The happy hour was delicious. Sitting on the top of Pasumalai Hill, Gateway Madurai stretches over 62 acres of peaceful landscaped gardens. It has an outdoor pool, tennis courts, and an Ayurvedic treatment center. Love this colonial, yet modern hotel. Dining room staff, are attentive with good memories of personal preferences. The food is very good. The room located with a decent view of the pool, was well stocked with amenities. Morning room service coffee was timely and tasty. A wonderful stay as usual. Thank you. The peacocks even performed in all their glory.
