Featuring a restaurant and cafe on site, Blabjorg Resort is in the fishing village of Borgarfjordur Eystri, 71 km from Egilsstadir. We did not have time to use the spa. Breakfast choice was very good. The view out on to the harbour was really fantastic, smell of salty water and seaweed, just like home. Beautiful dining area. I met the owner of the property, who was really nice to speak with. The staff were great too. The northern lights were just so beautiful.

Great views of the water, mountains and wildlife (ducks, waders & a seal). Good food at breakfast & dinner; friendly staff.

Very interesting room with a good view of the mountains. Loads of birds on the trees outside the window too, a pretty sight in the morning. Neighborhood was cozy and had everything we need
