The apartment was very spacious and located in a nice area where you could walk to restaurants. We didn't meet the hosts but they left everything we'd need and checked in with us by email.

Héraðsskólinn Historic Guesthouse er staðsett við Gullna hringinn og býður upp á útsýni yfir Laugarvatn, Heklu og Eyjafjallajökul. Breakfast was very good and not too expensive. Loved all the decorations and atmosphere there. The view over the lake is insane!!!

Mengi Countryside B&B er í 3,6 km fjarlægð frá Geysi. Boðið er upp á ókeypis WiFi og bílastæði. Hægt er að slaka á í sameiginlega heita pottinum og á veröndinni. Great place! Quaint and peaceful, but only a minor detour from Rte 30. Very warm and welcoming. It was the best accomodation we had in Iceland.

View from the room was great. The northern light wake up call service is fantastic! Thanks to the team so that we able to see the spectacular moment during our stay here!
