Located in central Selfoss, these self-catering apartments include a well-equipped kitchen and free WiFi access. Thingvellir National Park is a 30-minute drive away. The apartment was very spacious and located in a nice area where you could walk to restaurants. We didn't meet the hosts but they left everything we'd need and checked in with us by email.

Located within the famous Golden Circle sightseeing trail, Héradsskólinn Historic Guesthouse overlooks Lake Laugarvatn, Hekla Volcano and the Eyjafjallajökull Glacier. Breakfast was very good and not too expensive. Loved all the decorations and atmosphere there. The view over the lake is insane!!!

Great place! Quaint and peaceful, but only a minor detour from Rte 30. Very warm and welcoming. It was the best accomodation we had in Iceland.

Found by bubbling geothermal springs in Hveragerdi, this hotel offers an outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs and sauna. All rooms include bathrobes, slippers and a 32-inch flat-screen TV. Wi-Fi is free. The nature, warm rooms, super cozy beds, nice view, relaxing hot tub, comfy vibe in the restaurant, nice staff, excellent dinner!

You will definitely love the vibes there when you stepped in the hotel. View from the room was great. The northern light wake up call service is fantastic! Thanks to the team so that we able to see the spectacular moment during our stay here!
