Located on Snæfellsnes peninsula, this hotel offers an in-house restaurant and rooms with mountain views and free WiFi access. Stykkishólmur town centre is a 25-minute drive away. Amazing food and staff. The best dinners we found on the west of Iceland. The staff is very helpful and kind. The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast had a good food diversity and I like that we had a Nespresso machine.

Luxury beds and power showers are offered at Hótel Egilsen. Baldur Ferry Terminal and boats to the West Fjords and Flatey island are 300 metres away. Wi-Fi is free. The place is in a great location, just up from the harbour in a lovely spot . The rooms are cosy, a little tight on room, but very comfortable and modern. The staf are great, check-in a breeze and ready to help with dinner reservations or on what to see in the area. Lovely area by reception to have a hot drink, read or spend a few minutes. Breakfast was offered and was well worth it. Would stay again

Susannah was so helpful, we got married here, rooms were modern and had all the necessities, engaging staff on the whole and a stunning spot

This award-winning, eco-friendly hotel is on the Snæfellsnes peninsula, 6 km from Iceland’s famous Snæfellsjökull glacier and volcano. Very nice hotel in the beautiful location. The views were stunning. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was delicious.
