Hida Takayama Hodakaso Yamano Iori is just a 3-minute walk from JR Takayama Train Station and a 10-minute walk from Old Town and Takayama Jinya and Miyagawa Morning Market. The rooms were spacious and spotless. Futons were one of the most comfortable that we have ever slept in. Staff were incredibly friendly. The onsen was good and very clean. We used the onsen about 6am and 8pm and it was completely empty, felt like we were the only ones (both male and female)! They were remarkable and a great experience. Location was perfect (5 mins to train / bus station) and super close to various restaurants, temples and other attractions. We would definitely return to stay here in our future stay at Takayama!

Ideally located just a 2-minute walk from JR Takayama Station and Shirakawa-go Bus Terminal, this hotel boasts a natural hot spring bath where guests can unwind. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Nice and clean. Room is optimized for space but has everything. The Japanese-style breakfast was superb. Location is convenient and staff went above and beyond. No complaints!
