Piece Hostel Sanjo offers private and dormitory rooms in the heart of Kyoto. Absolutely brilliant hostel, highly recommend. Excellent location and very clean. Room was very spacious.

Very convenient central location. Both the paid and free breakfasts were great! We also both really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. The two rooms we stayed in were also both really cool, the downstairs one with the tatami lounge was very comfortable and the one upstairs had a nice high ceiling.

Opening in March 2014, Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shinmachi Bettei offers accommodations with a modern yet traditional décor. The interior design is mixed antique and modern. Very attractive. The service is excellent.

Nestled in a quiet residential area, Kyoto Brighton Hotel is located in the heart of Kyoto, a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Imperial Palace. All guest rooms are non-smoking and soundproofed. Beautiful design, friendly and helpful staff. Great food and drink. Spacious room with all facilities. The minibus service to the underground railway station was very useful and regular.

Ideally located just a 2-minute walk from lively Nishiki Market and Ponto-cho Street, Matsui Honkan boasts large public baths and chic Japanese-style rooms. We had an amazing stay here. The place was incredibly clean and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We truly enjoyed our time there and believe that booking just one night is perfect for anyone visiting Kyoto.

Ryokan Kyoraku er staðsett miðsvæðis, í aðeins 7 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá norðurútgangi JR Kyoto-stöðvarinnar. Það er í 3 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Higashi Hongan-ji-hofinu. It was very very lovely staying at Ryokan! -Staff was very polite and nice, speaks English, after check-in properly showed us our room, shower and toilet. -They give you towels (every day - new), green tea and bottled water for free. There is a kettle and termos in the room, when we entered our room, there was hot water in the termos so we could drink tea after trip. - it was so clean in shower and toilet and very good smells 😉 - there are lots of stickers at Ryokan in English how to use everything, so it was very simple. - it's less than 5 minutes walk form Kyoto station, but in the quite little street. Besides there's different places nearby such as konbini, bar, cafe etc. Thank you much! We will recommend you and return here on our next trip!

Towa Ryokan is a ryokan located just a 10-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station. A welcome drink of green tea will be prepared upon arrival. Wonderful breakfast. Well prepared and delicious.
