The property was amazing and the host was super kind and polite. The room was an old style Japanese room with futon. Breakfast and dinner were also good. Bathrooms are shared but very clean. The common area is a plus where you can meet other people and share experiences. I totally recommend it.

The staff service was incredible and the food delicious. The footbath they have in a little café at the entrance is all you need after a long Day walking.

Renewed in 2013, Sakuraya offers affordable Japanese-style rooms with mountain or sea views. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 3-minute walk away. I booked my room @ 3rd floor with Sea view is simply an awesome decision. The room was spacious and superbly clean.. tatami was really comfortable as well. Staffs at front desk are so welcoming, warm & helpful. The location itself is just amazing. About 8 minutes walk to the ferry pier and also 7 mins walk to the famous Itsukushima Shrine with the floating gate (Torii). I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Hotel Miyajima Morinoyado byl po rekonstrukci znovu otevřen v dubnu 2014 a nabízí pohodlné pokoje a prostorné veřejné lázně. Za 1 minutu dojdete k akváriu Miyajima a za 15 minut ke svatyni... This is a gem! Traditional style and great value in a beautiful location. Meals were exceptional especially for being vegan which is hard to come by in Japan! The room was spacious and the onsen was wonderful and comfortable. Would happily stay again!
