The staff were very welcoming, location is right on the water front, very close to the ferry port, the hotel is clean, room was clean and comfortable.

The accommodation was clean, beautiful and easy to find. The tatami room is so comfortable and the garden view was stunning. We really enjoy our stay, and will definitely go again!

Shuttle service to the ferry was fast and quite practical. Breakfast was nutritional and balanced. Overall a fantastic experience~

Reopened in April 2014 after renovations, Miyajima Morinoyado offers comfortable guest rooms and a spacious public bath. It is a 1-minute walk to Miyajima Aquarium and a 15-minute to Itsukushima Shrine. Lovely hotel. Excellent breakfast, we did not opt for the dinner, so I cannot comment. I used the bath onsen twice and it was very clean and relaxing. We were able to use the shuttle to the hotel which was nice. We walked back to the ferry on the last day, which is an easy 25 minute stroll. I would recommend climbing Mt Misen, it was a great climb with some temples on the way, and we took the ropeway back down.
