A soli 7 minuti a piedi dal Santuario di Itsukushima, sito dichiarato Patrimonio dell'Umanità dall'UNESCO. Il clima nella struttura era molto accogliente e particolarmente tradizionale. La cortesia del personale squisita. La cena tipica molto curata e interessante.

Posizionato a 600 metri da The great Torii e 1,1 km da Momijidani Park, Oyado Tsukiusagi prevede camere a Miyajima. Everything was exceptional. We loved the Oyado Tsukiusagi! It had the most comfortable futon beds we experienced through our 5 weeks of traveling through Japan, a beautiful and clean room, and the lady at the hotel was very nice and welcoming. We really love Miyajima so we were very happy that we could stay at the island through the night.

厳島いろは is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. Our room was incredible. It was one of our favorite rooms we stayed in during our two weeks travelling across Japan. It had so much character and beauty, from the tatami matt flooring, paper screen doors, beautiful wooden flooring in the bathroom, and bamboo weaving on the ceiling banisters. In our room, we had a fine view of the bustling streets of Miyajima. It was a great view for people watching as tourists and locals visited stores and restaurants. The dinner was great, made with fresh ingredients. It was no doubt one of the best dinners we had in Japan. It consisted of multiple courses, and you were able to choose preferences for each course. This was a nice surprise, as we had stayed in another ryokan in Hakone a few days prior that did not offer a selection for the courses. The sashimi was super fresh, and the pork tonkotsu was terrific.

Riaperto ad aprile 2014 dopo i lavori di ristrutturazione, il Miyajima Morinoyado offre camere confortevoli e un ampio bagno pubblico. This is a gem! Traditional style and great value in a beautiful location. Meals were exceptional especially for being vegan which is hard to come by in Japan! The room was spacious and the onsen was wonderful and comfortable. Would happily stay again!
