Wakasa Annex features an outdoor hot public bath and free WiFi. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, drinks vending machines and free parking. Todai-ji Temple is only an 8-minute walk. The staff went way and beyond to accommodate our needs- they were all super lovely and helpful. Especially the person who took us to our room and explained everything upon check-in and the person who ran after check-out to the bus stop to return our forgotten gloves! A 12-minute walk from the Kintetsu Nara Train Station, Hotel New Wakasa offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Everything was just great, the room, atmosphere. staff attitude and hospitality, Onsen and breakfast and finally the location.
