Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. Facilities were very nice with traditional japanese feeling while western style bathroom was available in the room. Bigger private bathroom was a great experience. Staff was very nice, considerate and helpful :)

Re-opened in 2012 after thorough renovations, the Tokyo Station Hotel is registered as an Important Cultural Property and boasts gorgeous rooms in a classical European style. The breakfast buffet and the staff escorting and carrying our luggage to the exact place on the platform where we boarded our Shinkansen car. We did not request this service it was just offered. Service was wonderful.

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath. Lovely Ryokan experience right next to Asakusa temple ground and also feels very welcoming to foreigners.

Offering modern rooms with free WiFi and wired internet access, Ryumeikan Tokyo features a restaurant with panoramic city views. The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from Tokyo Station. Very tidy and clean room, diligent staff that leaves the room spotless whenever we request house keeping. Extremely friendly, english speaking staff that helped us with numerous things e.g sending our luggages to the next accommodation.

Nastanitev Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba je prvi hotel družbe Grand Nikko na Japonskem in je odprt od 1. julija 2016. Location indeed was a great one. It was walk distance away from Lawson, and shopping malls. Everything was quite convenient. I like the variety of restaurants nearby.

Open from December 2015, Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole is located just a 2-minute walk from Oshiage Subway Station, the closest station from the Tokyo Skytree. The location. It is very near the metro subway, mall (Tokyo Salamachi) and the Bus station that takes you straight to Disney Resort. Although, it is quite far from the main Tokyo centre, you can always use the subway for that. I also liked that the late check out can be paid for a reasonable price (Although in Dubai 2 or 3 hours late check out are almost free at all hotels). The check in is also smooth, you can either use the machines or get help from the receptionists. They also speak good English and very helpful. The TACOS at the buffet breakfadt,, OMG, they are so good.

Set within a historic Japanese garden, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo offers spacious rooms with garden or city views and free Wi-Fi. The staff where unbelievablely kind. I let the lady at front desk know that we got engaged and she gave us a welcome cake and when we were checking out even gave us a hand written card! When we ate at one of the restaurants the staff even took a photo for us and printed it. Honestly they made our stay super magical, and that's not even considering the garden which is out of this world!

Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa is a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station is a 5-minute walk away. The friendliest and most welcoming staff you could imagine. We stayed two nights here and enjoyed the traditional setting though I did add an extra layer of padding to my futon bed. The private bath was lovely after a long day and there were icy poles to enjoy afterwards. The breakfast room (not currently serving meals as at Nov 2024 though) has coffee and cute activities like origami. Overall a great stay.

Opened in August 2014 after a thorough renovation, Hotel Ryumeikan Ochanomizu Honten has been offering heartfelt hospitality for more than a century. It was amazing, rooms are huge and fantastic! Bathroom is great as well.

Set in Tokyo, just a minute walk from JR Sugamo Station's A4 Exit, APA Hotel Sugamo Ekimae features a public bath and compact yet functional rooms with free WiFi access. The hotel is very close to the subway station and the Yamanote line station. The hotel has good service for luggage storage and check in.
