This lovely 100year old building is set in the middle of a less appealing street. However most of the buildings/retail outlets in the village reflect the demographic of people recovering from economic hardship. The Golf Green was a ray of sunshine with old world charm. A beautiful view across the golf course, a lovely garden . Breakfast was a choice of Sri Lankan or English and our eggs/toast/fruit were great. Bed was comfortable and we slept well.
