Sigiriya is located within the Cultural Triangle of Sri Lanka, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Featuring the best view of the Lion’s Rock, it offers an outdoor pool, restaurant and free parking. The pool was absolutely stunning and kept in pristine condition by the hardworking pool staff. It was a pleasure to swim and relax in such a well-maintained environment. As for the views, they were simply breathtaking and unparalleled. Whether I was in my room or exploring the property, I couldn't help but be in awe of the incredible vistas. And let's not forget about the breakfast – it was truly mouthwatering! The variety and quality of the food were outstanding, and it was the perfect way to start the day.

Aliya Resort and Spa - Thema Collection is set amidst lush tropical foliage. Situated just opposite Sigiriya Rock, the resort boasts an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and 4 dining options. Its a lovely, safe place to stay. Beautiful views and calming vibe. All the staff were super welcoming and I would return for sure

This 1930s bungalow is sprawled across 98 acres of a tea plantation, at the foot of the Knuckles Mountain Range. This was our second stay at Ashburnham Estate, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. There’s a rare quality to this place—an effortless elegance and warmth that welcomes you the moment you arrive. The landscape is breathtaking, with rolling hills, and quiet, expansive views. Every detail of the experience feels considered, from the beautifully curated interiors to the gentle rhythm of each day. The food was exceptional, and prepared and served with genuine hospitality. Ashburnham offers not just a break from the everyday, but a complete shift in pace. The whole fteam is gracious and attentive without ever being intrusive, and their warmth and professionalism enhanced the sense of calm and care. I travel a lot, and I don’t believe there’s anywhere quite like it, thank you Vish, Daniel and the team! We will return again I’m sure!

Welcoming guests with an outdoor swimming pool and sauna facilities, Arika overlooks peaceful greenery views. Guests enjoy comfortable guestrooms with air conditioning and a private terrace. Great stay, Mr. Nish and his team went out of their way to take care of us. The food was excellent, we even extended our stay by a night!
