Ideally situated in the center of San Cristobal de las Casas, this hotel is less than 3 blocks from the city's main square and offers a variety of convenient amenities for the modern traveler. The staff was polite and helpful. My room (with garden view) was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfy with enough sheets as it gets cool at night in SCDLC. Even at regular price, this place offers bang for your buck.

Located just 150 metres from San Cristobal Church, Hotel Diego de Mazariegos offers charming colonial-style rooms with free Wi-Fi and cable TV. One of the most charming colonial hotel of all my journey to Mexico. Conveniently located just 5 minutes by walk from the main square of San Cristobal it's the right accomodation if you want to visit properly the historic centre. Room was very cosy and in colonial style. No heating is available so during the night it was a little bit cold and so there is the chance to light the fireplace just aside the bed. Very fascinating. Staying there is like a time machine. You can have a trip back to the past.

The location is amazing, and the hotel so! Great rooms, great restaurant and great pool surrounded by forest. We saw monkeys, a parrot, bats and more during our stay at the hotel. The staff is so kind and helpfull. The maya ruins and the jungle is close by, you can just take the collectivo-bus a few hundred meters from the hotel to go there. We would really recommend this hotel!

Located in downtown San Cristobal de Las Casas, this 4-star hotel is 3 blocks from San Cristobal Cathedral. The hotel offers a free Wi-Fi zone. We LOVED our 5-night stay at this hotel! The location was absolutely perfect, and the hotel itself is amazing. Just off the lobby area, there is a covered courtyard area with large trees in it, and you can have breakfast overlooking the courtyard. In another part of the hotel, there is a library/reading area, and on the third floor, the large terrace has lovely views of the surrounding hills and is full of potted flowers and plants. The artistic details, including many murals and beautiful decorations, add such class to this hotel. The restaurant is very good, and the service - from front desk staff to restaurant staff to the helpful staff members who opened the door to the private parking garage every time we needed to come or go - is outstanding. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation, and we would very happily stay here again.
