Located a 10-minute walk from central Tapalpa, Hotel La Casona is a beautiful colonial-style building with a charming central terrace and feng-shui inspired décor. The property was beautiful. Lots of antiques and fireplaces. Some very quaint touches. The included breakfast was amazing. Alonso would make us pretty much whatever we wanted and it was delicious. And he was no nice and helpful. He gave us some tips of places we should drive out to. The rest of the staff were great too. It helped that the hotel was not busy during the week. They also took dogs and that was great. The area was super quiet for sleeping.

Great location, out of the busy area but close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants! Rooftop pool was amazing. All the staff are lovely!

We really enjoyed the relaxing, low key atmosphere we experienced throughout the resort and love the location close to the marina.
