Location, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are huge and comfortable, based on the hotel stay, staff, looks and food, I would have paid more for this stay.

At the hotel, each room has a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels. Hotel Refugio del Angel was, by far, excellent to stay for a couple of days. The walk to and from the plaza in Patzcuaro was perfect for my latest 60's aged mom. Friendly staff at the reception.
