Mercado de la Merced 2 streets up has great food and much on the quieter side of the 2 main ones. But just walk the streets and the food vendors have the most delicious food ever

The place is small with only a few rooms but with a lot of charm. Everything was great, this place is a little oasis in la Punta. The bungalow is super clean and with a great chill out balcony with hamac and view on the jungle garden. The place is really close to the lively streets of Punta but nicely located far away from the noise. The staff is super friendly and helpful. As a female solo traveler I felt safe to walk around at night following the staff instructions. I will definitely stay there again if I have the luck to come back to puerto escondido.
