This is quite simply the best hotel we've ever stayed at. We were fortunate enough to get a free upgrade after we let the property know we were celebrating our recent engagement and the room was incredible, enormous space, huge comfortable bed, giant balcony with whirlpool bath, plus welcome gifts and a sweet treat left in our room every night. The beach club is fantastic, never a rush on or lack of sunbeds, the staff are incredibly attentive and go above and beyond in catering to whatever wants or needs you may have. The pool is wonderful and a great place to cool off in the afternoon heat, the swim up bar is fantastic and the cocktails are incredible, and fairly priced relative to the rest of the island. The breakfast menu is extensive and delicious, and we also ate at the restaurant on our final night which was the best meal we had on the island. We also ended up opting to pay for a transfer back to Cancun airport through the hotel, which was a seamless and calm experience compared to sorting taxis/ferry/ADO ourselves. Huge thanks to all the staff for honestly making this the trip of a lifetime for us, we'll certainly be coming back!

This family-run hotel is located in front of the beach on the beautiful Holbox Island, just off Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It offers an outdoor pool, hot tub and stylish hut-style rooms. Beautiful throughout with friendly wonderful helpful staff

This secluded guest house is located outside the village of Tulum, only a short cab ride of the beach. The property is surrounded by tropical gardens. Should be called Don Diego de los Pájaros! I did my birdwatching with a cup of coffee at the pool. Imagine a collared aracari in this green oasis in a busy part of Tulum. Hosts were very nice and helpful, for instance with their maps of their favorite restaurants and the best attractions. Breakfast under the thatched roof is wonderful.

Located right on the beach, Sueños Tulum offers guests an outdoor swimming pool, spa treatments, yoga classes and free Wi-Fi. This hotel is only a 10-minute drive from the Mayan ruins. The food and the service excellent, almost like custom made. The setting felt private and and allowed for true relaxation. Love the sand grounds, the massage services were incredible. So clean, comfy and unstuffy

Extraordinary hotel with its own beach and extraordinarily comfortable sunbeds. The hotel has two restaurants where the food is very good (a bit expensive in my opinion). The staff is very kind and responsive to the problems or requests. The Junior Suite where i stayed has all the facilities for five stars and the cleanliness was impeccable. The location is close to the most important restaurants and shops (a few steps away - no need a taxi , also very expensive). For transfer from Tulum airport I used Amstar, also very well.

Featuring Mexican-style décor, Hotel Colibri Beach is a sea-front boutique hotel located in the heart of Playa del Carmen. The hotel is perfect, you really get good value for the money. I been living in some hotels which were much more expensive. But to be honest, i like Hotel Colibri much more. And the breakfast is the best i have taste, the service and the food there is so good. With good prices. You will love Hotel Colibri.
