This hotel was beautiful and the staff were beyond amazing. We got sick just before we arrived in Valladolid and the staff at Tia Micha went above and beyond to look after us. Great location right by the town square. Beautiful breakfasts in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and free breakfast, the Diplomat Hotel is located within Mérida's historic centre, 1 km from the Plaza Grande Park and 800 metres from the Zoo. The breakfasts were amazing. Chef Karla makes the most delicious and beautiful food!!! Neil and Sara are such wonderful owners. They take the time to make you feel welcome and make sure your stay at the Diplomat is beyond expectations. We especially enjoyed the welcome drink and snacks. The staff is exceptional...Laura made us feel so welcomed at the Diplomat. The rooms are so nicely decorated and the grounds are stunning. It truly is a paradise in Merida.

Casa del Maya Bed & Breakfast is located in central Merida, nearby Merida’s Cathedral and offers complimentary breakfast for up to 6 guest, free Wi-Fi connection and an outdoor pool. Owners (George & Sarah) and staff (Aron) were very helpful. The property is excellent. The breakfasts were innovative and delicious. The location was perfect for walking downtown or throughout the neighbourhood.

Centrally located just 10 minutes’ walk from Mérida Cathedral, Hacienda Mérida VIP offers an outdoor pool and a 24-hour reception. Free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking are provided. The hotel grounds are beautiful, better than in the pictures. Our room was huge and so were the bathroom and the walk-in closet; also very clean. The pool is big and since there are only five rooms in the hotel one can pretty much have it all to themselves. If not, there are two more pools at the other adjacent hotel (same owner). The owner, Philippe, is very nice and has good recommendations for restaurants. The breakfast was very good with various choices, served by professional Franco (sorry, not sure of spelling).

Their helpfulness and friendliness truly made me feel like a valued guest throughout my entire stay. The restaurant served up some of the most delicious food I've ever tasted, with each dish crafted to perfection. The ambiance added to the dining experience, making every meal a delightful treat. The hotel itself was a beautiful and comfortable oasis, with tastefully decorated rooms and inviting common areas. The refreshing pool was a welcome retreat after a day of exploring, and the easy parking made coming and going a breeze. One of the highlights of my stay was the proximity to the center, allowing me to easily access all of Merida's historical tourist attractions. Plus, having the owner onsite added an extra layer of hospitality, as they were always available to offer friendly advice and assistance.

Featuring an outdoor pool and set next to Francisco Cantón Park, Hotel Mesón del Marqués is set in a Colonial 17-century house. The hotel was in an incredibly pretty building right in the centre of Valladolid. Everything was very clean, staff was super friendly and the breakfast was amazing!
