Set in a restored private mansion, East Indies Mansion is located in the heart of UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town. Welcoming and helpful staff, wonderful breakfasts, beautiful rooms and atrium. Felt very relaxing and a perfect location in the old town. This was my second visit and I hope to return.

Located in the capital city of Penang, Seven Terraces is only within a 5-minute walk to the significant Goddess of Mercy Temple and the popular Penang Peranakan Mansion. Great stay like staying in a living museum. Lots of beautiful touches. Great staff. Wonderful restaurant.

Noordin Mews is a boutique hotel housed in a historical building in central Penang. It offers an outdoor pool and provides free Wi-Fi throughout the building. Wonderful hotel - beautifully designed in traditional historic style. The style reminded me of the HK movie In the mood for Love and it felt like walking into the past. But please note the area around it is a bit rundown and only starting to be restored - so if you are looking for modernity this is not your place. However, you are short walk away from historic old town. So for us it was perfect. The actual rooms are spacious, equipped with modern TV with Netflix & coffee maker. Absolute gem is the staff - attentive and kind and very helpful in suggestions of what to visit and where to eat in the neighbourhood. Thanks for all your help :) Breakfast is great - they offer western options and also possibility to try Chinese breakfast (different every day - you get info what is it when you sign for it day before). Pool is small, but after exploring Georgetown very good for refreshing.

Situated within the UNESCO World Heritage city of Georgetown, Coffee Atelier is a collection of 5 beautifully-restored shophouses dating back to 1927. Absolutely loved this ground floor, delightful, traditional shophouse accommodation. Such a gem of a place. Very comfortable and roomy, especially with having the enclosed outside verandah to sit and relax. Very peaceful, yet so convenient for restaurants etc. We felt Ruby was exceedingly helpful, offering advice and tips on places to visit etc.

Campbell House is conveniently located a 5-minute drive from Penang Museum and is surrounded by a variety of local shopping and eating options. The property is gorgeous, with so many personal touches from the staff. Since it’s a boutique accomodation they give you so much advice on what to do with your day, where to eat and so on. The staff are so lovely, and the room and common areas are tidy, comfortable, and so unique.

Located along Tanjung Bungah Beach, M Social Resort Penang offers accommodations in Penang. It features an outdoor swimming pool and guests can enjoy meals at the in-house restaurant. Excellent quality and very fair price. Infrastructure, perfect. Big room, pool is great and location, if you have already seen Georgetown and want something else, is great: nice local medium / upscale area with food and services that go along. Excellent food options and grocery shops + food court in front..... I did 2 night in GEorgetown, then came here, great great!

Located in Georgetown, Le Dream Boutique Hotel offers modern accommodation with free WiFi access. The air-conditioned rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle and a minibar. Beautiful room with loads of space and very comfy. Surprisingly quiet location but close to all the action. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the roof had lots of choices (had to choose each evening for the following day) and was tasty.
