Het Weeshuis is located in the city centre of 'Hanzestad' Bolsward and offers accommodation set in a monumental building and former orphanage. Every day we had a beautiful breakfast set up for us in the main gathering room - delicious cheese, breads, pastries, soft boiled egg, fresh juices and coffee/tea. The room was large and the bed was without question like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom had a very nice shower - large towels. The history and architecture add to it's charm. The staff and owner were very friendly and accommodating. We will stay here every time we visit.

National Park Schiermonnikoog offers a backdrop for Hotel Graaf Bernstorff which features a library, free bus service. The island’s pier is 3.7 km away. The staff was phenomenal! So friendly and so helpful. I can highly recommend them. They always cooked amazing vegan food for me even though it wasn‘t on the menu! THANK YOU! The room is lovely!!

Boutique Hotel De Eilanden is located in Harlingen. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a seating area. The hotel is in a beautiful old building with wonderfully modern and upgraded rooms. The incredible location is central to every thing and I loved the fact that you can easily walk around to find what you want. I will stay here again! Just a note, to check in you have to walk just down the way to check in at another hotel, super easy and staff was really kind.

Logement Overzee offers charming suites, set in this monumental building in the calm village of Nes. It has free Wi-Fi available throughout the building and a bicycle rental service next door. Lovely hotel in the heart of Nes. Good rooms, great restaurant and the only drawback I can think of is the sometimes noisy guests on the terrace outside

Situated in an authentic Frisian farmhouse, this small-scale hotel provides you with spacious, pleasant rooms and a beautiful garden with a tree orchard. Relax in the Finnish sauna. This was an amazing stay, the outside pod cabins are super nice and the view is out of this world! The staff are so friendly and nice, always smiling and very helpful. The breakfast is awesome, all local and home made products, they even requested halal meat for us from the supplier which was so considerate of them. We loved out stay there.
