It was the perfect place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure that I felt welcome and well taken care of. Their warm hospitality added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this hotel.

Dating back to 1640, this 9th generation family-run hotel is Norway’s oldest. The hotel is surrounded by a romantic garden in the idyllic village of Svolvorn. Extremely charming hotel full of history in a beautiful and quiet Fjord. Straight from a postcard! Has been led by the same family for 300 years, amazing hosts. Breakfast is one of the best i’ve ever had! Such a memorable stay!

This refurbished 1800s manor house is in Flåm, 200 metres from the Aurlandsfjord. It provides a restaurant, a large garden and free WiFi access. Everything. We stayed in one of the historical rooms. Loved the old style decor and furniture. The staff were nice. The breakfast was great.

Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri is located in the oldest buildings in the village of Aurland. Situated on the shores of Aurlandsfjord, it offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. It's a cozy cottage right on the fjord with an unforgettable view. in the heart of beautiful Aurland. Close to the grocery store, shops, and nice bakery in the village. The fjord sauna is right in front of the property. Comfortable beds, equipped kitchen. If something is missing they are willing to help at the reception if they can. Free parking is available. It's a perfect starting point for many trips in the area. I would recommend Fjord Cruise, kayaking, Flamm village, and Stegastein viewpoint.

A vízparti Gudvangen Fjordtell épülete Norvégia nyugati részén, az UNESCO Világörökség részét képező Nærøy-fjordnál található. It was such a dreamy room, the viking theme was exactly what we wanted. The panoramic view of the ceiling window was so beautiful,I didn't want to leave there . The staff was so nice and helpful, we had a small problem with the room, and when we called after 12 am they came either way and changed our rooms, so helpful. The viking village is right next to the hotel. It was a beautiful stay and one I will remember.

Housed in a 19th-century building by Stryn Bay, this hotel offers individually decorated rooms with private balconies and free WiFi access. Stryn centre is a short walk away. Outstanding in every way. Think of a large chain hotel and then think the opposite. The hotel has been run since 1850s but carefully renovated without removing the quaint old style vibe. From the moment you walk in it feels like home (as it has been in the last to Royalty). No issue for us, but there are only stairs so you will need to carry your bags up. Great drying room if you need it. The rooms are lovely - spotlessly clean, lovely little balcony and large bathroom/shower with excellent shower pressure. There is a super nice trail that runs from behind the hotel with lovely view along the way. Not very challenging but a lovely walk - maybe and hour is so up and back. Easy to get to more challenging hikes - just ask at reception. We did the walk to Raksetra (drive 10mins and maybe 90 mins round trip with spectacular views of the fjord from the top. The dinner we had was exceptional with service to match. Exceptional. Breakfast was also superb. Plenty of choice - Norwegian, freshly baked breads, if you want, eggs and bacon done just right and pastries, high quality condiments etc. We wish we could have stayed for longer.

At the head of the famous Flåm Railway in Myrdal, this hotel is only accessible by train and sits high above Aurlandsfjord. Beautiful historic hotel in an amazing mountain location
