Das Frühstücksangebot war sehr vielfältig und ausgesprochen gut. Die Servicekräfte sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders das Rezeptionsteam war äußerst kompetent und hilfsbereit.

Das Shambaling Hotel ist ein charmantes renoviertes Haus aus den 70er Jahren und liegt inmitten einer wunderschön angelegten Gartenanlage. Einen sehr netten kurzen Fußweg vom Stupa entfernt gelegen. Uns hat die Atmosphäre so gut gefallen, dass wir jeden Tag dorthin gelaufen sind. Das Frühstück war lecker und die Ober schenken sehr aufmerksam Tee und Kaffee nach. Wir haben abends ein vegetarisches thali gegessen, was ich sehr empfehlen kann. Sehr appetitlich und gut gewürzt. Alle im Hotel sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Location is perfect in the middle of Thamel and close to some attractions to do even by foot. Room is spacious. Bed was comfy and lockers were wide. Staff were so nice and helpful. Free Breakfast was the best part of the stay (nice variety of a menu à la carte). I also liked the tour guide services they offer for extra fees.
