The rooms were very good and the staff were very courteous:-) The breakfast was also superb. The restaurant team were also serving with a smile on their face always. The rooms seemed as if I am staying in a palace rooms.

Shambaling Hotel er staðsett á fallegu landslagshönnuðu svæði og er í heillandi enduruppgerðu húsi frá 8. áratugnum. I could book the room with 50% reduction so it was very good value for money, I really appreciated the heating function that was possible through the AC system, the kettle to make tea in the room, the cosy interior design and the helpfulness of the staff.

Location is perfect in the middle of Thamel and close to some attractions to do even by foot. Room is spacious. Bed was comfy and lockers were wide. Staff were so nice and helpful. Free Breakfast was the best part of the stay (nice variety of a menu à la carte). I also liked the tour guide services they offer for extra fees.
