L'hôtel é in una posizione vicino a Thamel ma non troppo rumorosa. Il personale è molto professionale e accogliente. Ci hanno dato una camera da letto più bella di quella prenotata. Servizio in camera buono. Buona la colazione.

The rooms were very good and the staff were very courteous:-) The breakfast was also superb. The restaurant team were also serving with a smile on their face always. The rooms seemed as if I am staying in a palace rooms.

Nestled within beautifully landscaped grounds, Shambaling Hotel is a charming refurbished house from the 70s. I could book the room with 50% reduction so it was very good value for money, I really appreciated the heating function that was possible through the AC system, the kettle to make tea in the room, the cosy interior design and the helpfulness of the staff.

Location is perfect in the middle of Thamel and close to some attractions to do even by foot. Room is spacious. Bed was comfy and lockers were wide. Staff were so nice and helpful. Free Breakfast was the best part of the stay (nice variety of a menu à la carte). I also liked the tour guide services they offer for extra fees.
