This was the third time I have stayed in this property. It feels like you are in your own home. Staffs are very friendly, accommodating, caring and courteous. Let me give you an example of its caring staff. “For the breakfast, they serve you with two slices of toasts. Since I was cutting down carbs, I asked the lady at front desk to send me only one slice of toast because I didn’t want to waste food. After few days, she brought me two slices of toasts and told me that the size of the bread on that particular day was kind of smaller, and she thought one smaller piece wouldn’t be enough. That just brought a big smile in my face.” Even the dog at the property is so kind, it likes to welcome all the guests each time they arrive. I will definitely come back here next time I visit Nepal.

Staff simpático e acolhedor, sempre prestativos. O custo benefício é excelente, localização central e próximo ao centro comercial. A estrutura do hotel é antiga, clássica, mas bem conservada. Café da manhã farto e variado. Recomendo bastante a acomodação.

Situado em meio a belos jardins paisagísticos, o Shambaling Hotel é uma encantadora casa reformada dos anos 70. I could book the room with 50% reduction so it was very good value for money, I really appreciated the heating function that was possible through the AC system, the kettle to make tea in the room, the cosy interior design and the helpfulness of the staff.

Location is perfect in the middle of Thamel and close to some attractions to do even by foot. Room is spacious. Bed was comfy and lockers were wide. Staff were so nice and helpful. Free Breakfast was the best part of the stay (nice variety of a menu à la carte). I also liked the tour guide services they offer for extra fees.
