He is kind, helpful and we really enjoyed speaking with him about so many things. I commented on a book he had finished reading and he insisted that I take it on my travels. I was also having credit card issues and he helped me sort those out with such a caring demeanour. A hot breakfast was cooked to order one day and on the other, he made sure we had food in our room so we could get an early start. As well, Wookie the little dog was such a cute, loving dog. If I could give Mike 11/10, I would. Thanks so much!

Surrounded by lovely gardens and situated on the waterfront, Hananui Lodge and Apartments features accommodation with free WiFi, a private balcony or patio and an LCD TV. The location was perfect the rooms we booked had a beautiful Seaview which was just amazing The apartments were modern and clean, the hosts were super lovely and accommodating provided kayaks and paddle boards the the kids which they loved

This motel is a special find - huge rooms, so clean, well appointed and comfortable. It has a complete kitchen, wonderful shower and comfortable beds. The best part is stepping out from your door to your own patio and right to the pool. This pool is not in a parking lot or by a street but surrounded by a beautiful garden and lawn. We enjoyed morning coffee poolside as well as Happy Hour. All units open to the pool. The couple running the motel is delightful, extremely helpful in planning activities, learning about the gardens, and making our stay exceptional.

We stayed in the Pacifica Room and loved how the lounge was separate from the bedroom. Clean, tidy and awesome with added utensils in the kitchen - everything you need! I loved the milk froth maker and pod coffee machine - such a treat! Big TV with Netflix and good sized fridge/freezer. Plenty of towels. Absolutely loved the spa and private beach access straight out the front door to steps. Bed was comfortable with extra pillows and blankets if needed. We could hear the kiwis and even went searching for them with our hosts.

Averill Court Motel offers spacious self-contained accommodation, only 150 metres from Paihia Beach. All rooms are built around a central pool area with spa pool, swimming pool and sun terrace. Excellent location, just 10 minutes walk to the wharf. The unit is very clean and well equipped, really like the kitchen panel and facilities. Every unit has its own parking space. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for 3 nights in an apartment.
