Alison and Ron are really friendly and helpful. The cottage is super clean, quiet and comfortable with everything you need for a short stay. It's around a 30 minute drive to National Park and all the walks. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and relaxing, breakfast setup was very convenient, seems to be tucked away from everything, but still close to town (~15 min drive) and not far from Tongariro Alpine crossing car park (~40 min drive). It was located close to town,so easy walk.Host generously allowed us to heat up lunch and dinner,as bnb don’t allow cooking.

Hotel Coachman is located in the heart of Palmerston North. It offers a large outdoor swimming pool. Free Wi-Fi is included. All rooms at Hotel Coachman feature satellite TV and ironing facilities. The staff were amazing. The food and service good as well. Beds were comfy and there was even a bath that we hadn't counted on. Excellent would highly recommend

Anndion Lodge Motel offers views over the Wanganui River and is 4 minutes' drive from the main street. It features free unlimited WiFi and a salt water swimming pool. From the moment we booked I can't fault this place.
