Just 5 minutes’ walk from Turangi town centre, Creel Lodge is a 4.5-star Qualmark rated motel offering self-contained suites with a private patio and BBQ facilities. We didn't pay too much attention when booking this accommodation, as we just wanted a place to rest for a night after the Tongariro Alpine Crossing and before driving to Wellington. What a lovely surprise this place was! I absolutely loved staying here - spacious and clean rooms, a comfortable bed and a covered terrace in front of the apartment. Even though we didn't get to use the kitchen, it was supplied with pretty much all apliences one would need. Some details I appreciated and haven't seen before were the parking spots next to every apartment and the Netflix account the apartment had for guests. The gardens were pretty and well kept. However, I have to admit that what helped tremendously with my experience at the Creel Lodge hotel was the beautiful and incredibly friendly cat that decided to make us his friends and waited for us to wake up the next morning in front of our door.

The location was perfect and easy to walk to restaurants and a brewery. Everything was clean and well organized and the hosts couldn’t have been nicer, they let us check in early!

Harvey and Sue were such kind, incredible hosts. Their home was so cozy and they made us feel so welcomed. The house was clean, spacious, and had gorgeous views. Highly recommend staying with them!

El Coromandel Apartments, situado en una zona céntrica de la histórica localidad de Coromandel, ofrece alojamientos independientes con patio y cocina completa. Comfortable and clean apartment. A good size for 2 people. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bedroom is spacious and the bathroom is modern with a very powerful shower.

El Argent Motor Lodge está a 250 metros del hospital de Waikato y del hospital de Braemar. Ofrece alojamiento independiente de 4,5 estrellas con TV vía satélite y soporte para iPod. It was close to Hamilton Gardens. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable. It was exceptionally clean.

El The Reef Resort Motel ofrece un alojamiento independiente junto al lago Taupo. Spacious rooms, great equipped and tv's that work so well. The pool and smaller hotpool are nice and warm. Everyone is quiet and respectfull and kind. The woman at the front desk was very hospitable. Would recommend!

El Coromandel Seaview Motel está situado entre las montañas y el mar de la península de Coromandel. Está cerca de la famosa pesca en agua salada y de varias actividades al aire libre. It was raining cats and dogs when we arrived at the motel, so I didn't expect much, just wanted a room to take a bath and a bed so I could take some rest. But this was far beyond my expectations. The hosts were so kind that they didn't just only give us good advice on how to plan our visit in the peninsula the next day, but also took us to the perfect spots to take pics of sunset. The view of the motel was great, but the places they took us to were just awesome. The next morning, I was waken up by the sunrise from the sea and it was just fantastic. The room was clean, tidy and well-equipped. It takes 3 mins to drive to the town so it's convenient and quiet. Definitely would stay here again if I visit the peninsula again.
