O Hotell Slottsbacken está a poucos minutos a pé da rua principal de Visby, Adelsgatan. Um mini-bar e uma televisão de ecrã plano de 81 cm com canais por cabo são comodidades padrão. The breakfast is great, the beds very comfortable, the room has a great atmosphere with a view over the harbour and the location is just perfect. The final thing to point out is that the staff is excellent. One person to mention especially is Sandra in the reception who is a real gem and very professional while still being personal and social.

The interior is just outstanding. You feel like living in 19-th century mansion, this is a very memorable experience. Breakfast was also good, with quite a variety of food.
