Kalk Hotel is boutique hotel located on Strandgatan, in a beautiful building from the 17th century, carefully renovated with a stylish interior and Gotland details. The location was perfect, the room was nice, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very good and the staff was exceptional.

Set in Visby’s UNESCO-listed medieval town centre, this hotel offers free WiFi and an inner courtyard. Free tea, coffee, cookies and fruit are offered in the lobby. Great one night stay. Perfect.

Hotell Slottsbacken is just a few minutes’ walk from Visby’s main street, Adelsgatan. The breakfast is great, the beds very comfortable, the room has a great atmosphere with a view over the harbour and the location is just perfect. The final thing to point out is that the staff is excellent. One person to mention especially is Sandra in the reception who is a real gem and very professional while still being personal and social.

The interior is just outstanding. You feel like living in 19-th century mansion, this is a very memorable experience. Breakfast was also good, with quite a variety of food.
