Grandma Kaew House is located 200 metres from Night Bazaar and Chiang Rai Bus Terminal. It offers modern air-conditioned rooms with balcony and free Wi-Fi. Walking distance from the bus station. An older Thai lady who's probably Grandma Kaew in person welcomed us. Room was basic but comfortable. Wifi was good. We stayed on the ground floor next to their room. She allowed us to hang our laundry at the back to dry, and even helped to move them under shelter when we arrived later that evening. Her daughter, I presume, handles a motor rental service underneath the accoms. Their scooters are in excellent condition.

The small pool inside the court of the hotel was nice (looking), but we didn't make use of that. The breakfast was sufficient and excellent, Thai Food as well a bit Western (Farang) fodd availale. Super good coffee.
