Beautiful location next to the river - friendly staff - I was in the standard small room, but it was not small at all. They have everything you need. Even flip flop for outside and slippers for inside. Towel for the swimming pool. Food was also delicious. We loved it and it was a pity to be there only one night. The staff also help with any activities or advise on what to do around.

The guesthouse has very nice and original decor decor and furnishings and the rooms are very nice and comfortable. It is also within walking distance of both the bus and minivan station and the train station (although the latter is half an hour's walk away). The owner - a local woman - is very helpful and forthcoming, and she's also one of few communicative Thais with a genuine interest in foreigners that I came across on my two trips to Thailand: once I even asked her to call a bike rental shop to let them know that I would return the bicycle I was renting from them later than agreed, as unfortunately I cannot speak Thai, and she kindly obliged. Not to mention that her husband was twice kind enough to give me and other guests a ride to the minivan and bus station so that I did not have to pay for a tuk tuk.

Located on the north bank of the Kwai Yai River, this contemporary lodge-style resort features an outdoor pool and free WiFi. Set amidst landscaped gardens. Snídaně byly okouzlující. Měli tam snad vše, na co si vzpomenete, pokoj prostorný, pohodlná postel,v ledničce 4 nápoje zdarma, vchod přímo ze zahrady. Pohled na řeku byl naprosto fascinující.

River Kwai Resotel is a villa-style resort nestled on the banks of the Kwai Noi River in Kanchanaburi. It features air-conditioned rooms with an outdoor pool and a restaurant. This is a little paradise island, you will literally sleep in the jungle. The sounds and the trees around you are incredible. The room was beautiful, set in a tropical scenery. We had no issues with catching the long tail boats, I think they actually work with the bookings they get from the hotel, so we had one waiting every time we needed it. Absolutely beautiful experience.

The location on the hillside overlooking the beautiful lake is stunning, the boat ride in the late afternoon towards the sundown was also a highlight. Reception and employees all very friendly. (with one exception, see dinner)
