Pongwe Bay Resort je situovaný ve svěží tropické zahradě u bílé písečné pláže v Pongwe. Patří k němu bazén. The beach was amazing! It was the nicest beach on the island, in our opinion. Even at high tide, we had lots of beach to play on. And the sand was the finest, softest, coolest sand we have ever experienced. We booked a snorkelling excursion straight out from the resort and enjoyed a fun ride in a dhow, followed by a wonderful hour of exploring the reefs and seeing so many beautiful fish. The Indian ocean is warm and crystal clear. The breakfast was great! There was a wonderful selection of dishes, and we especially appreciated the omelet/pancake/crepe station. Coffee was delicious and the staff was lovely. We ate a few meals at the restaurant and all were excellent, and good value for the money. There were two nights of entertainment. On the first occasion, we were introduced to traditional Maasai dancing which included guest participation. And on another night there was a band of musicians performing while a few young women showcased their dancing talents. Our "room" was more like a two bedroom apartment; very spacious, with two bathrooms (awesome!) and a lovely private courtyard. It was much nicer than we had anticipated. There is onsite 24 hour security on the beach and at the entrance, so we felt very safe. One more thing . . . we arrived in the wee hours of the morning and were pleased to find that the staff had left two trays of pastries and fruit for us so we could sleep in and not have to worry about missing breakfast. We realize that many people prefer to stay in Nungwi or near Stone Town but we would highly recommend Pongwe for the peaceful setting and beautiful beaches.

Raving review about this hotel which is one of the best I've stayed in. It is an oasis of peace and relaxation. The room was clean and cleaned each day, the garden is spectacular, the food delicious, the location right on the beach. One of it's best advantages is the staff, very welcoming and well prepared, ready anytime to meet your needs. They have made us feel at home and we thank them for this !

Zanzibar House se nachází na soukromé písečné pláži s výhledem na Indický oceán v Matemwe a nabízí bazén a bar. K dispozici je také potápění a šnorchlování. Připadal jsem si zde jako v ráji. Krásný hotel v africkém stylu. Výborné snídaně i večeře. Hotel je v podstatě přímo na překrásné pláži, která byla vždy před hotelem uklizena. Lehátka k dispozici v hotelové zahradě, kde je i krásný bazén s výhledem na oceán. Velice příjemný personál a také italská rodina, která hotel provozuje. Koupání v oceánu nádherné. Je potřeba počítat s přílivem a odlivem. Časy jsou vždy napsány ránu na baru. Možnost zapůjčení kol a kajaku, masáže v areálu hotelu. Byla nám také zajištěna doprava z a na letiště. Děkuji všem za krásný pobyt.

We recently stayed at Mamamapambo for five nights, and it quickly became one of the highlights of our Zanzibar trip. While exploring the beaches of Paje and Jambiani, we had the chance to check out other hotels, but Mamamapambo truly stood out from the rest. The entire team was incredibly welcoming, and helpful, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. A special thanks to the manager, who was very friendly and went above and beyond in helping us plan our days. His insightful suggestion and careful planning truly enhanced our experience. The rooms and the atmosphere of the entire place were superb. The room was extremely well-maintained and clean. We also loved the breakfast and chilling areas, which offered fantastic ocean views. We couldn’t recommend Mamamapambo more—it’s the perfect choice for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Historický Tembo House Hotel s bazénem a restaurací se nachází v Zanzibar City, 3 minuty pěšky od Staré pevnosti a Paláce divů. Nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi. Velmi příjemný personál, navíc jsem měl pokoj se třemi dvoulůžky a vlastním hamamem za asi 80 eur! Opravdu luxus

Dhow Palace Hotel se nachází v historické budově z roku 1559 v centru staré části města Zanzibar. Hotel má krytý bazén, restauraci a střešní terasu s panoramatickým výhledem. The employees of the hotel were very supportive and kind.

Indigo Beach Zanzibar se nachází ve městě Bwejuu a má venkovní bazén a restauraci. K dispozici je bezplatné Wi-Fi. Everything was magical from check-in until check-out. The staff were absolutely amazing. They really went out of their way to make our stay extra special.
