Offering an outdoor pool with a sun deck and BBQ facilities, Luana Waikiki Hotel & Suites, is 10 minutes’ walk to Waikiki Beach. This hotel is in a good location if you don't plan on using a car but just going to the beach and walking around the area. There is a military museum right next to the hotel as well as lots of shops and cafes. The room we had was spacious and comfortable with a great selection of TV channels, of course if you're staying in a hotel room although I don't think anyone would stay in a room when in Hawaii. Even though we were on a lower floor and the room faced the street we didn't hear too much noise. The room was clean and had everything you needed to cook basic meals, a small kitchen with everything you need. The pool is ok but you have to be careful if you're not a swimmer as one part is shallow and then you go straight into the deeper part. The gym is small but has everything you need to stay in shape. You also have a barbecue area which I highly recommend as you can have a barbecue with your family and enjoy the view of the park. The hotel staff are excellent and all praise for them. If all hotels had such smiling and helpful staff, no hotel guest would ever be dissatisfied with the service. They deserve all the praise and a pay raise.

VIVE Hotel Waikiki is a 100% non-smoking boutique hotel, just 4 minutes’ walk from Waikiki Beach, offers free WiFi and modern guest rooms with mountain, city or ocean views. Great location - second line in Waikiki beach , the staff was really great and helptul , we got early check-in for free , and late check-in was also possible ( for 90 USD , what we found as reasonable ) , the rooms were nicely equiped , the sea view was really nice ( despite having some buildings in front of our room you could see the beautiful blue colour) , Wifi worked perfectly , breakfast was fine , with large variety of fresh fruits- we really liked staying in Vive hotel and will definitely come back

Situated in Kapaa, Kauai Shores Hotel is an oceanfront hotel that features a private beach, a beachfront restaurant, and a 6-acre tropical courtyard complete with 2 outdoor pools. it was a perfect experience. super comfortable, great location, great beach, great pool, and grounds were beautiful. the restaurant was great too! will be back!!!
