Just a 5-minute walk from The Alamo, this pet-friendly hotel is in central San Antonio. It features an indoor pool, daily continental breakfast and a snack bar. Loves how close the hotel was to the river walk. Tons of great restaurants around as well. The staff is extremely friendly and the breakfast is one of the best breakfast I’ve had at hotel in a long time.

The hotel is in the center of San Antonio, right next to the Alamo. It is an historical hotel; the oldest West of the Mississippi. It was well maintained with exceptional architecture and cleanliness. The staff is friendly and very helpful, especially Tim Smith at the front desk. There is a lovely buffet available for lunches and brunches; one needs 2-3 stomachs to try everything. The hotel boasts a pool and a garden that you can sit in to read your paper. What will strike you when you first enter is the lovely scent, which was especially designed for it. The hotel is definitely value for money, and better than most 4-star hotels in New York.
