The location is very rural and a fantastic opportunity to see Albanian countryside and life in the hills. The food was homecooked from local produce - totally delicious. Beds very very comfortable! The family are wonderful hosts and willing to help in any way they can. The journey from the town to the guest house is wonderful (we were picked up in the 4x4 from Berat for a small charge) and the walks are amazing. We are so happy we booked this stay.

best view of old town Berat. Easy walking distance. Decent parking. The place has steep stairs even to get to the receoption. Negotiating stairs up to restaurant would be a challenge for elderly or handicapped. But for those of us that can do it, it is so Berat. Stone rooms.

Very tasteful renovation of an Ottoman house. Very convenient parking. Great location near pedestrian bridge across the river. Nice river walk. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast.

Comfortable bed, good location (short city-bus ride to bus terminal), great breakfast, nice staff. Room quite nice, with small area at entrance for changing shoes for slippers, nice shower.

Beautiful location in the old town, down the beautiful castle (advice: park down the hill, by the hostel, not up!) The staff is a couple who kindly stayed late for us and prepared breakfast with fresh fruits. Rooms are really clean and comfy, mixing both modern and traditional style.
