This is a wonderful place the host Mathilda was lovely and accommodating. The location is great and we don’t need to go anywhere to enjoy the beach and it’s a walking distance to the city center. There’s a private parking but also public parking it’s free. Breakfast was great and with options. All the way the hotel is surrounded by restaurants and supermarkets.

Best hotel overlooking the beach. The rooms were very clean, comfy and had gorgeous views. The team was very friendly and helpful answering all our many questions. The breakfast was 5 stars, especially the cake for breakfast. We felt like part of the family, they looked after us so well. Unforgettable!!

    The staff is exceptional! I can't remember a time when someone walked me to my room to make sure I had everything I needed. They are so kind and attentive. The hotel room is really clean and well appointed. I had a room with a view of the sea and it was lovely. I highly recommend this hotel

    Sarande is a beach resort that is still growing.

    Sarande is a beach resort that is still growing. Lots of construction and road work. We had no trouble getting around -same as construction season in the states! We visited in December and the weather was gorgeous ( not beach weather but lovely). Views were spectacular. Hospitality, food, top rate. All decked out for Christmas. People have pride Do not judge any place by its exterior-every place was neat, clean and modern inside. The history of the country and its emergence from communism must be accounted for. We found it completely functional and a great base for visiting Butrint, Gjirokaster, Ksamil, etc. Our day trip to Corfu did not happen as ferry service is once per day in December but you can stay overnight in Corfu to resolve that. We heard summer is super busy so we were grateful to have the place to ourselves. Ran into a couple from our town in the states that was at Butrint- so the world is truly getting smaller. Get to Albania if you can.

    Beautiful beach location for a romantic weekend getaway. Be mindful that on the low season most restaurants will be closed, but on the upside you will be able to tour The Blue Eye, Ksamil, and Butrint almost entirely by your own (which are definitely worth a guided visit!)

    It was nice and easy walking distances to and from my apartment.proberly no more than,10mins.you were In the main city to all shops bars and restaurants.Also no more than about 20mins on a 🚌 to ksamil which were every 1,hour

    We were there from end of Oct (We took ferry from Corfu island to Saranda which is 1 hr trip) and spent 3 nights at lovely Da Luz Hotel which is 10 mins walk to the city center. We were really luck as the weather was very enjoyable during our stay. There is a nice local BBQ restaurant about 3 mins walk from the hotel with delicious food and faire price. The drinks and food price are pretty much same as in Europe and most of the local bars only take local currency or Euros. Local people speak good English. Overall it was a good experience to explore the city/country for us.

    Sarandë’s changed so much since I last visited twenty years...

    Sarandë’s changed so much since I last visited twenty years ago - but mainly in a good way. The downside is overdevelopment, they’re building on every square inch available; but you can’t blame the Albanians for making up for lost time as a tourist destination. Good for them! The layout of the promenade works very well, and there’s enough here to make this a decent “base” for daytrips nearby.

    Everything was walkable.

    Everything was walkable. For example we ate at a restaurant in local area, run by a Canadian lady. It was called Green Life market - very popular so book in advance. We located in Sarande for few days as it is central to visit various places of interests, like Blue Eye, Butrint, Gjirokaster, Kduit bridge and the canyon- around Permet, Vjose ( great views), Ksamil, Lekuresit Castle etc.

    I had an amazing experience during my recent stay at hotel Erioni in Saranda, Albania. The location was breathtaking, offering stunning views of the sea and easy access to the beach. The host was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed and valued throughout my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. It's a really good option for a family with children as well. So if you ever want to come to Saranda, this hotel is a great option.

    The owner’s kindness and availability were super. He welcome me and he suggested me all the activities I could do in the city, from taking me to rent a motorbike to showing me the best beaches around. The room was very comfortable and the hotel is on the one of the streets with the best view spot in Saranda. The breakfast was large and contained both typical and international food. The hotel own also a beautiful restaurant with a very interesting and delicious menu. I will come back here for sure

    Great place, clean and comfortable rooms. One of the most important things is the private parking of the property, where I could leave my car without any worries. In Saranda it’s extremely tough to find parking and most people had their cars parked in the streets. The family running the hotel was really kind and extremely helpful. Really close to the centre as well.

    Great hotel in Saranda! The room 408 was spacious, with high ceilings. The HK service was very professional, wet towels exchanged every day. The view from the balcony was amazing. The breakfast is good, although not great… I was missing a bit variety, every day the buffet was this same. The facilities are great, large swimming pool, bar open late.
