The staff's friendliness and how much heart they put into running the hotel are truly remarkable.
The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. (I've been going to the mountains for years, but I’ve never stayed this close to the slopes with such convenience. We were here with kids, and being able to quickly move from the slopes to the warmth of the hotel was amazing—anyone with a 3.5-year-old will understand exactly what I mean!)
It's also great that there's a pool in the hotel.
Last but not least, the food is excellent.
There’s also a beautiful ski room and convenient parking right at the hotel.

We had a great ski holiday with a stay in this family-run hotel. It is located in Hinterthal (some 8 km from Maria Alm). There is a ski lift (Hochmaisbahn) and slopes (red) just across the street. As we had booked a ski school in Maria Alm and kept our ski equipment there, we were taking a skibus (stop in front of the hotel). Everybody was very friendly and helpful both before (answering our questions via messages) and during the stay. We had half-pension and both breakfast and dinner were excellent, the service was fantastic. Both indoor and outdoor swimming pools are very nice, towels and bathrobes were provided together with a comfortable bag. We did not use wellness area but I am sure it is also very nice. Our room was spacious and had a view on the slopes. Everything was very clean and very well organized in the hotel. Thank you for your hospitality. We appreciate your hard work.
