The location is very pleasant for hiking, and it easy to access, with the proviso that of course the roads are quite small on the way. The facilities in the room are relatively basic but certainly comfortable.
Newly renovated in August 2018, the Hotel Donauwelle is located on the banks of the Danube river, offering panoramic views.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us - very close to harbour district. Hotel room was clean and well equipped, staff was friendly and helpfull. Bed was comfy. We had no breakfast but the dinner was fine.

A very clean and comfortable hotel in a great location.  Our rooms were very comfortable and clean. The two host that we came in contact with we're very friendly and made us feel welcome. There are a couple of great restaurants within walking distance of this hotel. The next time I come through that way, I plan on staying at the hotel again.

The hotel is in a great place, in the very center of the city. The room is very clean and has everything you need for a short stay. The entrance to the accommodation is a bit complicated (you have to have your phone handy) but we managed. It will certainly be our choice again when we return to Linz.
