Galtür is a very family-friendly ski resort with slopes of all difficulties, a fantastic ski school, easy transport to and within the resort, and great restaurants at the slopes. If you need more slopes, the much larger Ischgl is also just a quick bus ride away. The ski bus is occasionally quite packed, but the ride is quick and the bus runs very frequently. You can rent all sorts of outdoor equipment for snowy adventures. There is a large grocery store and also several good to exquisite restaurants. Just believe me- the best service ever!!! We have arrived very late in the night and the receptionist was waiting for us to show the way for one hour outdoor!! A very good hotel in a perfect location . The SKI bus station is located in front of the hotel, Ski room is very large and well heated with a dedicated entrance. The 'half board' service is convenient and food is quite good! But what really makes this place unique is the host and hostess, who go out of their way to make us feel welcome.
