We had a wonderful stay at Seewirt Zauner! The location was perfect, right off of the main square. The accommodations were comfortable and spacious. We had a room with a balcony which was a fun plus. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel restaurant was delicious! I definitely recommend staying here.

The location was great, right in the center of the old town.
The apartment is really very nice. It's a refurbished and beautifully decorated space in a medieval building with tons of character.

The property was located on the South end of Hallstatt, but was a good location for visiting the salt mine. Easy to get around from there.

It is a breathtaking place, very beautiful and fits good for hikers. The people are really nice too. Prices are not too high, there are plenty of nice food places here and there. We didnt expect to hike a lot in winter, although the view is worst it.

Summer would be too congested. It’s very pretty.
Worth visiting five fingers which is a point on top of the mountains where you get a cable car to the skiing resort. The only thing I would say is is very expensive for coffee and cakes the cakes are lovely and the coffees are lovely but be prepared to spend a lot of money.
There is a lovely hotel at the bottom of the square it is bright yellow and the food is amazing in there. It’s stuck in a bit of a time warp with the music but the food is excellent and the staff can’t do enough for you.

We enjoyed visiting the salt mine and though we knew it was off season, it was hard to find a restaurant for an evening meal. All in all, though Hallstatt is beautiful, I would have been satisfied with a day trip from Salzburg. I think it would be a great location if you're into hiking in the mountains and the views were lovely.

Beautiful place, the views from Salzwelten (Salt Mines) view points are incredible, recommended tour! Take in consideration that the village is usually crowded and mostly one lane streets what make driving a bit difficult. Most of the places in front of the lake only accepts cash.

Hallstatt is an amazing place, totally worth it with all the views and hikes, and I was lucky with the weather considering that was November. However, the village is very small. You can visit the major highlights in 1 day and after 5 pm almost everything is closed. So, you need to be creative about what to do after that hour.

Hallstatt still retains its peaceful, traditional village character. The scenery is very beautiful and romantic. The night is quiet. The Skywalk and the Salt Mine are very interesting.
The whole fish with salad at the Heritage Hotel is delicious.
Regret: Due to the health of a member of the group, we had to leave halfway, not reaching the waterfall in Hallstatt. The scenery on the way to the waterfall is quite beautiful with simple houses at the foot of the vertical cliff and the sound of the stream all along the way.

Great location in the middle of Hallstatt.
Breakfast if you can still book it was at another hotel, which was not a great issue.
Restaurant in the hotel was good, ate there twice during our stay, but partly because there wasn’t much else open after 6.
Room was comfortable but could have felt cleaner, had to ask for the room to be cleaned and new towels after a couple of days.
Everything was perfect!
Highlight of our Austrian trip. Best location in Hallstatt with car park.
Host Maria was extremely kind and helpful during our 3 night stay. We would like to come back.
