The first very nice surprise for Hungarian travellers, that the staff is Hungarian. Above the common language, and this is the real value, the couple who manage the Gasthof -Gábor and Tünde- are really very professional, very kind and helpful people. The breakfast is rich, good quality, typical Austrian one. However the restaurant is open every day - except Wednesday-, the foods are really tasty, a certain rethinking of traditional Austrian ones by a very good Hungarian chef. The Gasthof is an ideal starting point for star-tours. The Dachstein, the Altaussee (with the Loser), Bad Aussee, Radstadt, Schladming or Windischgarten etc. are very close to Irdning. Free parking place is available w/o reservation.

The breakfast was indeed excellent, as advertised. The restaurant is very nice, and our dinners were also great. I liked our two-story room, which gave us two balconies :-) The saunas after skiing were great. Finally, there is a nice waterfall nearby, which made for a beautiful walk.

The Tauplitzerhof is located in the center of Tauplitz in the Styrian part of the Salzkammergut, only 820 feet away from the Ski Amadé elevators. Cross country skiing trails start 1640 feet away.

Tle location was perfect. Few meters to a cable car. Breakfas was generous. The room was very nice.

Location in a quiet and very friendly little village, no any services like shops or hangout places, but very cozy, silent and friendly. For a vibrant nightlife, you have to go elsewhere. In the direct area possible to do a few short hikes in the surroundings, get a taste of the local country life, nice and open community. The room itself simple, standard decoration and facilities. All what you need is there., even simple things like wall connector for charging phone at your bed. Very clean room and fresh smell. The room had a private balcony, with an amazing view on the mountains. Impressive. A rich breakfast buffet was served in the dining room. Excellent breakfast, nothing missing. And again, the dining room has the same amazing view on the mountains.

Very beautiful location and view, however we were just one night there and couldn't see much. The rooms except the bathroom were fine and enough facilities there. All together a fair price.
